FactSet’s Win-Loss discipline aspires to understand the drivers of why we win or lose business through in-depth analysis of Sales Opportunities, user data, product usage, etc. to develop KPIs to help the business monitor, predict, and respond to changes in the market in real time in order to realize better outcomes. Our analysis includes internal, competitive, and end-market indicators taken together to create a holistic view of our market position and provide timely actionable insights to business leaders across the company to inform decisions.
In this role you will act as the steward of win-loss data and analytics through both individual research & reporting, and by driving all aspects of the analytical workflow to empower a self-service model for business leaders across the firm to expand and enhance our current analytical capabilities. Responsibilities:
Develop new KPIs: Research and identify opportunities for leveraging Salesforce and other internal data to drive new insights into the Sales and Consulting organization, and through the use of advanced statistical analysis, data mining, data modeling, and data visualization techniques create solutions that enable enhanced business performance
Manage system enhancements: Release enhancements to internal systems (e.g. Salesforce, CIA reports, etc.) that improve win-loss data, data quality, and reporting
Ad-hoc data analysis: in this role you will be asked to independently conduct ad-hoc research and deliver timely, impactful reports with your findings
Ensure data quality: Monitor data entered in Salesforce and pursue process improvements to streamline data entry and improve data quality
Data Governance - facilitate the creation and upkeep of governed sales data items
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required
Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
Experience building BI Reports (we currently use Power BI, but experience with any BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik)
Experience with Data modeling
Experience with data mining and hypothesis generation in support of high-level business goals
Demonstrated understanding of user centered design methodology, UX principles, and product development roles preferred.
