Sr Software Engineer

MetaSource is seeking to hire a skilled and experienced full-time Senior Application / Web Developer to serve as a technical expert in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of software. This position pays a competitive salary of $110,000/yr to $125,000/yr commensurate with experience and skills. We also offer a solid benefits package with great perks.

A Day in the Life as a Senior Application/Web Developer at MetaSource

As a senior Application/Web Developer, you are responsible for keeping the existing mortgage audit applications running smoothly. You will assist with supporting our legacy customer-facing applications and help oversee the technical design of our next generation platform which will be the a significant focus over the next year or so. We need you to help to take us from our legacy platforms into the future!

Though you have an analytical mind and often work independently, your good interpersonal and communication skills are also essential to your success. You'll collaborate across teams and also work with customers. Using your exceptional leadership skills, you'll mentor and inspire your development team to think critically and contribute to designing industry-leading solutions to solve complex, abstract problems. You are flexible and enjoy working for a tech company where there is a lot of energy and growth.

Qualifications:

• Microsoft Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code experience
• Microsoft C# / .Net and /Net Core Experience
• Microsoft SQL Server experience
• Experience with web services such as web APIs, REST, and SOAP
• Hosting platform and deployment knowledge IIS, container knowledge, public cloud
• Familiarity with web technologies such as SAP MVC, ASP Core, JavaScript, Angular, JQuery, CSS3, and HTML5
• Familiarity with data transfer formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV
• Experience with unit testing (Mocking, Test Driven)
• Experience with dependency injection
• Experience with git
• Leadership Skills

Container and orchestration knowledge such as Docker and K8 would be helpful but not necessarily required. Experience with imaging processing such as OCR, typing, and transcription, as well as image conversions such as PDF and TIFF, would be a plus!
