ABOUT THIS POSITION
KBRwyle has a requirement for an experienced Sr. Software Test Engineer to support our operations at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWPNS) in Point Mugu, CA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for testing of software to include test planning, development of test procedures, execution of software requirements and functional testing, documenting and analyzing deficiencies found, and preparing test reports. The candidate’s support will encompass from detailed requirements analysis through, and including in-depth training of other test engineers and the end users, the U.S. and RAAF EA-18G and FA-18E/F aircrew.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience. 8+ years of applicable progressively complex software design engineering experience. Equivalent professional experience or a combination thereof may be substituted for the educational requirement.
Clearance Requirement: US Citizen with active or current DoD Secret clearance or higher clearance
Microsoft Office products and working within an Integrated Product Team is required. Experience with JMPS software is highly desired. Experience with EA systems or Fleet aircrew experience in EA-18G or EA-6B aircraft required.
