United States of America - Georgia, Atlanta **Job Summary** AECOM is seeking a Sr. Water Resources Engineer in our Atlanta office. This will be a part-time position, working approximately 20 hours a week. The responsibilities of the position will including managing and leading technical tasks, develop scope/fee and assist in business development/proposal preparation, and mentor young engineers for the following types of projects: + Hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and civil design for water resource assessment and transportation projects + Water supply planning, permitting, and modeling, streamflow analysis, reservoir safe yield analysis, river basin modeling + Dam inspection and assessment, dam break analysis, Category I dam permitting, development of Emergency Action Plan and O&M plans + Floodplain mapping and assessment + Bridge and culvert hydraulics and design, run-off quantity and quality estimation, open channel and closed conduit flow, one and two-dimensional flow analysis, surface and groundwater flow, and dam design and operation. **Minimum Requirements** + BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering + Georgia Professional Engineer + Certified Engineer of Record for Civil and Hydrologic & Hydraulic Design for Georgia Safe Dams Program, Department of Natural Resources + 20+ years of experience + Expertise with computer models such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and SWMM + Experienced in the application of Geographic Information System (GIS) databases for water resource systems planning and design **Preferred Qualifications** + Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission - Level II Certified Design Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control **What We Offer** When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
