If so, you may be the SEO Specialist we’re looking for. This is an opportunity to work directly for the Managing Editor/Content Director of one of the fastest growing companies in the United States. You must have previous SEO content strategy experience with either a media company or agency to be considered for this position.

Location:
This job will be located in our Albuquerque, NM headquarters office. If you are not already local, this position would begin as a remote ‘work from home’ position contingent on a 30-day review with a mandatory relocation to our Albuquerque, NM office. Relocation is a requirement for this role once it is deemed a good fit.

THE JOB

The 3 main objectives of this position are:
Do research and testing to determine effective topics/keywords for potential LadyBoss blog posts
Create content briefs using keyword research to help LadyBoss writers prepare blog posts
Run SEO tests to make sure we are using the best keywords and SEO strategies in new articles

Key Responsibilities

Do research to determine effective topics/keywords for potential LadyBoss blog posts
Do keyword research to determine effective keyword choices, strategies for blog posts
Create content briefs using keyword research to help writers and coaches prepare blog posts
Review completed blog posts before publication to ensure SEO goals have been met
Write SEO-optimized headlines, meta data for posts
Ensure blog posts include at least one link to an existing post
Review published posts weekly to look for internal linking opportunities
Review search terms for top posts monthly to determine if any content updates are needed
Use Google Analytics and other tools to determine top posts
Update blog metrics document weekly
Represent LadyBoss on all your personal social media at the high level of excellence our customers expect from us
Monitor LadyBoss brand online to look for opportunities to enhance identity and fix any problems
Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Knowledge of conversion rate optimization and click through rate optimization and ability to improve both

Your Experience Includes:

5+ years of experience in SEO optimization for an ecommerce company or digital publication
Strong writing, editing, and communications skills
Strong analytical skills
Proficient using WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO research tools like ScreamingFrog, Ahrefs, or BrightEdge
Ability to juggle multiple projects
Experience building backlinks helpful
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
Understanding of site structures and measuring internal linking impacts
Passionate about keeping up with the latest SEO trends
Improving conversion rate and click through rate with site optimization and testing

Your Achievements Include:
Successfully driving traffic through national keyword strategies that show large SEO growth
Demonstrated knowledge of working with basic HTML and troubleshooting
Running multiple projects at once, keeping them on track and achieving the results required
