What We Are Looking For:
We are currently seeking a Stockroom Clerk that receives, stores and issues equipment, material, supplies or merchandise and compiles stock records in stockroom by performing the following duties. FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:
� Counts, sorts or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices.
� Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.
� Stores articles in bins on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
� Fills orders or issues supplies from stock
� Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.
� Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
� Compiles reports on adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, location changes and refusal of shipments.
� Marks identifying codes, figures or letters on articles.
� Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
� Determines methods of storage, identification and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities and required space.
� Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
� Maintains inventory and other stock records.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively on a one to one basis before supervisor or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, registrations: Valid forklift operator�s certificate required.

What Else Do I Need To Know About Being A Shipping Clerk For ESS METRON?
Hours: Full Time, with a minimum of 40 hours per week (may require more hours depending on the needs of the business, including some weekends).
