Summary of Duties: Responsible for the accurate and efficient shipping and receiving of product and packages from all hotel vendors and hotel guests. Management of inventory and reporting of all stock shortages and discrepancies. Timely delivery of guest and employee packages.
· Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Neat appearance.
· Sense of urgency,
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to multi-task.
· Basic math skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for accepting and verifying, through packing slips and invoices, all
incoming shipments to the hotel, via UPS, FedEx, or outside vendors. Accurate and
timely shipping of all incoming/outgoing guest packages through UPS and/or Fed Ex.
Successfully monitor and maintain inventories of office supply, bar supply, & uniform
room, Communicate depletions or shortages to Purchasing Manager. Ensure the
security of all Purchasing department supplies. Assist F&B by completing all bar
service area requisitions, as per hotel policy. Complete inventory bin cards on a daily
basis. Maintain clean working environment. Use proper lifting techniques and follow all
hotel safe procedures.
