Research Engineer — Systems Engineering and Signal Processing
Information Systems Laboratories, Inc., a high-tech, employee-owned research and development company, is seeking applicants in its Research, Development and Engineering Solutions (RDES) group. RDES performs concept development, systems engineering, algorithm development and implementation on high performance computing platforms, and high-fidelity modeling and simulation. Application areas include multi-channel RF (radar, SIGINT, etc.) and imaging sensor systems, and advanced geolocation solutions. The position offers a unique combination of opportunities to advance the state of the art, publish original research, and present at conferences and workshops as well as to advance in customer contact, responsibility, and position. Opportunity exists to manage your own projects and pursue your own research interests in coordination with company goals.
The position requires degree(s) in electrical engineering, physical sciences, or mathematics (advanced degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
FPGA software development expertise including LabView.
Facility with Matlab.
Good writing skills
Experience in modeling of physical systems and signal processing
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information, including US citizenship. Non US citizens will not be considered.
Experience withC/C++ and CUDA (or OpenCL) in Visual Studio.
Experience in advanced signal processing concepts to include adaptive, array, and image processing is highly desirable.
Experience developing proposals in response to Government BAAs and other funding opportunities is also desirable.
