Job Description for Manufacturing Simulation Engineer: Process Simulate Human
Auburn Hills, MI and Detroit
• This Simulation Engineer is required to have expertise in the use of Siemen’s Process Simulate software.
• The emphasis in this assignment is HUMAN modeling. Experience in Robotics is helpful, but not critical.
• Minimum of 3 years experience.
• Understanding of Human Kinetics and Software utilization, to represent human tasks in the manufacturing environment
• Ability / experience to navigate data systems, so as to acquire the product, equipment, layout and tooling data required to assemble a work cell environment and create a digital model.
• Ability / experience in creating work cell models and providing the appropriate “movement” of people and equipment, based on time study data and inputs from other sources.
• Ability / experience in creating video files for stakeholder presentations.
• Ability / experience in conducting engineering and management meetings, to communicate findings, recommendations, and issues.
• Track record of handling and solving issues and conflicts of technical and organizational matters, so as to achieve success for all stakeholders in the manufacturing system.
