The Sleep Technologist performs and evaluated overnight polysomnograms under medical director.
Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility.
One (1) year polysomnograms/neurological testing experience preferred. Ability to perform intricate procedures and follow physician direction.
BLS required, must be completed prior to end of orientation period
Certification by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) as aRegistered Sleep Technologist (RST) or equivalent; or formal training in neurological testing or other allied health field that required a recognized state or national credential: RN, R. EEG T., RRT, RPSGT, RST.
