Provide evidence-based outpatient psychotherapy in an academic medical center for youth and young adults struggling with suicide ideation as part of Upstate's Psychiatry High Risk Program. Collaborate with team members and inpatient providers to facilitate transitions to outpatient care. Participate in quality improvement protocols to optimize clinical outcomes. Ability to effectively collaborate in a team model and engage with clients of varying educational and cultural backgrounds. Ability and interest to learn evidence-based psychotherapy and improve clinical skills, Ability to assess and manage risk. Kindness, curiosity, and openness to new ideas are helpful attributes. LCSW with either an R-number or at least 6 years of postgraduate supervised clinical experience required. Experience providing risk assessment and counseling for high risk clients preferred.
