What youll do
As a Software Developer in the Fraud & Security Intelligence organization, you'll be responsible for the development and support of an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solution in SAS Fraud and Compliance solutions.
Collaborate with product management and team members to implement innovative approaches to real world problems
Provide support of the product to existing and new customers
Assist in writing external and internal documentation
Undertake appropriate and thorough testing on code changes, including writing automated test cases and performing integration testing
Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning and daily scrum on assigned projects
Regularly communicate work progress with management, identifying issues early and resolving them quickly to avoid or minimize impact to projects
What were looking for
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
Minimum 4 years of programming/development experience
Experience with analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of enterprise applications.
Object-oriented programming application development in Java or another applicable language.
Experience with Angular or any other web application framework
Experience with SAS language
Experience with SQL
Understanding of Microservices
Experience id REST service development
Code versioning tools (i.e. Git)
The nice to haves
Experience working with Databases: Postgres, Oracle, DB2
Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Basic UNIX skills including scripting in bash
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to relate business concepts and user needs to SAS solutions
Ability to work independently and with a team
