In this position you will be part of a team of experienced software engineers that are designing, implementing, and testing Linux-based software applications. You will immediately be integrated into multidisciplinary engineering teams that work with a wide range of technologies including FPGAs, electronic sensors and chemical analysis. You will solve difficult technical problems and focus on developing great code for multiple new products.
Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based software for leading-edge scientific and industrial instruments.
- Develop Linux-based software for innovative scientific and industrial instruments
- Code in C, C++, and/or Python
- Currently working towards a Bachelor's or Master's level degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Proficiency with object oriented designs and concepts, as well as data structures
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Passion for coding
- Experience developing with Python, C, C++, Bash, and RESTful APIs
- Experience using git
- Experience operating within a Linux Environment
- Experience contributing to the open source community
