What we are looking for in a Solar PV Installer

You should be:

• A hard working quick learner who is unafraid of heights, great with their hands, and able to work safely and efficiently using all required PPE

• A team player, with the ability to effectively communicate with others

• Able to read drawings and apply NEC code requirements

• Able to travel and be away from home overnight during the week, as needed

• Excited about solar energy and its future

• Experience in various types of construction, ideally in roofing and/or electrical work

• A valid driver’s license, with a good or clean driving record

• OSHA 10, First Aid & CPR training and certification, or willingness to obtain

• An Associate’s degree or certificate from a trade school, or equivalent experience

About the Solar PV Installer position

As a Solar PV Installer, you will be a key part of our team and work as a member of a crew of two to four individuals to install ground-mount and roof-mount solar systems on our customers’ job sites, including site preparation and both mechanical and electrical work related to the installation of those systems. Solar PV Installers are highly valued members of the Paradise Energy Solutions’ team, and they are an integral part of helping us continue to build our reputation as being industry-leading experts in solar energy and one of the “Best Places to Work in PA.”
