Under the direction of the Strategy Execution Manager, the Strategy Execution Specialist plays a critical role in the implementation of AltaMed’s enterprise-wide strategy execution model. The Specialist translates the strategy through the deployment of a strategy execution measurement model that utilizes scorecards and performance dashboard (BIRT Performance Scorecard System) at the enterprise, line of business, functional unit and individual contributor levels. To achieve this, the Strategy Execution Specialist project manages all tasks associated with the various phases of creation and implementation of BIRT scorecards and performance dashboards such as: collaborating and engaging with stakeholders in identifying key measures and targets, facilitating system integration of measure-related data, leading the design and launching of BIRT custom-views to evaluate measure performance, and communicating results and root-cause analysis. Provides direct support to senior level and line of business leadership through the facilitation of monthly Business Operations Team and ensuring alignment to line of business operational reviews. As a member of the Office for Strategy Execution and Analytics, the Specialist also supports the development, execution and communication of AltaMed’s enterprise strategic plan, including development of enterprise goals, objectives, initiatives and action plans
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for deployment of AltaMed’s Strategy Management model throughout the entire enterprise, including definition of key performance measures, integration of measure into performance management reporting systems, and deployment of performance management systems through customized scorecards to enable performance reviews by senior leaders, managers and individual contributorsSupports alignment of Line of Business and Administrative Function goals, objectives and strategic initiatives with AltaMed’s enterprise goals and objectives.Supports senior leadership through facilitation of the monthly Business Operations team meeting and ensuring alignment to individual Line of Business Operational Reviews.Supports the implementation of a measure and performance management reporting system enterprise wide and across all lines of business and functional units.Collaborates with key inter/intradepartmental teams to integrate the strategy management model with other strategic efforts and initiatives.Implements the training, communication, and data integration systems that support deployment of AltaMed’s strategy execution and management model throughout the enterprise.Participates on interdepartmental committees and task forces as appropriate to support AltaMed’s strategy execution.Supports and fosters a culture of strategy execution and performance management to enable AltaMed to be a strategy focused organization.Performs other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university with courses in business, marketing, health care administration, organizational management, or similar fields that focus on process management, change management or strategy deployment; Master’s Degree in business, health care administration, organizational management or similar field will be considered towards the equivalent of experience in management and support of cross-functional management teams focused on executing strategic initiatives and programs required, experience collaborating with executive and senior leader. Or, if Bachelors degreed will require a minimum of 5 years as stated above.Six Sigma, Balanced Scorecard, Project Management or similar Quality Systems and Change Management certification highly preferred.
