Our Client is seeking a talented Database Administrator/SQL Developer, responsible for managing database performance and security within the Essette software offering. This role also assists with designing and building high-performing and scalable ETL and data migration solutions. This role will work closely with both Essette’s product development and implementation teams. The position is based in Essette’s Longmont, Colorado office, with the expectation that the individual work from the office most days to offer high visibility and consistency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Advanced understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2014 to the current version.
Database storage, security, warehousing, encryption, and recovery best practices.
Ability to write complex and high-performing SQL statements.
Understanding of industry-standard database management tools.
Experience with transferring large quantities of data (millions of records or more) between systems while applying complex business logic during transformation, using MS SSIS, SQL scripts, or other data transfer tools.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Exceptional analytical and deduction skills.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
MINIMUM RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:
5 years of experience in database management in Microsoft SQL Server environments
5 years of experience in complex ETL and data manipulation
