Splunk is hiring a Business Insights Analyst to join Splunk’s Global Partner Strategy and Business Operations team to deliver deep insight analysis and build/refine BI analytical solutions in-line with business needs. As a business insights analyst you’ll be detail-oriented and conscientious, analytical and curious. This role will collaborate with diversified business partners to acquire reporting requirements and develop data solutions that support and influence strategic decisions across the Global Partner organization. You are someone who has a combination of strong quantitative skills, project management skills, interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to succeed in an unstructured, fast-paced environment. And you will do it all with a passionate and collaborative team that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, and promotes continuous learning.
+ Lead complex analytical initiatives, correlation analysis, developing tracking, combining data from multiple sources to extract meaning, reconcile assumptions, and enable the executive team to make data driven decisions.
+ Design, build and automate key business metrics into self-serve data solution to tell a story
+ Build processes and standards that build trust with data and provide consistent metrics across the organization
+ Develop a deep understanding of the Partner Org's current data needs and business priorities to ensure reporting needs are met through the standard and ad hoc reporting capabilities
+ Effectively coordinate work and collaborate across various cross-functional groups and levels in the organization and documenting data and analytics process flows
+ Provide analytics partnership and data support on the design, execution, and measurement of impactful strategic initiatives.
+ Create and manage dashboards, scorecards, and standard reports. Provide data for ad-hoc requests, answer questions about the team’s dashboards and reports and lead training for users.
+ Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature (Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Applied Math, Engineering)
+ 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, insights, analytics. Preferably have SaaS or Partner business background.
+ 2 years of analytical experience designing and implementing reporting solutions (eg. building dashboards to meet clients' need).
+ Advanced Excel, Word and Powerpoint skills. G-suite, SFDC, Tableau, SQL and other BI tools are a plus.
+ Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to learn quickly
+ Ability to manage conflicting priorities with business stakeholders
+ Proven experience being successful in driving results through data outcomes
+ Strong on execution to deliver high quality information to demanding deadlines; Strong communication and collaboration skills
