The key responsibilities of this role include collaborating with Supply Chain Ops, BU Finance partners, and other stakeholders to drive execution and provide financial visibility to leadership. In addition, this finance position will be responsible for key analytical modeling essential for business profitability and improved decision making.
This role supports the Supply Chain and Inventory Management functions and includes responsibilities for SOGL (scrap, obsolescence, physical gains/losses) reporting, analysis, and planning, managing balance sheet inventory reserves, as well as accounting for capital amortization. The position will play a critical role in improving processes, developing data sources, and in evolving world-wide policies and procedures for inventory reserves.
• Performs financial modeling, variance analysis, forecasting, and annual planning in support of key financial processes and business planning
• Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, compiles and consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management.
• Actively engages with business partners to understand financial drivers and to influence decision making
• Participates in monthly close activities to ensure integrity of financial results and appropriate management visibility
• Bring a mindset of continuous improvement to all aspects of the job, including recurring processes and stand-alone projects
• Support various strategic initiatives through analysis, reporting, and project management efforts
SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects from design to implementation while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education (typically University).

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Requires a University Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
