We are hiring a Senior Inventory & Fulfillment Planner at our corporate offices in Bloomington, MN. In this role you will be responsible for ensuringthat all products sold are properly deployed from the source of production tothe point of customer sale to fulfill service objectives while minimizing costsin multiple locations. The Sr. Inventory & Fulfillment Planner is theSubject Matter Expert regarding driving service and financial objectivesthrough system utilization processes and reporting capabilities for maximumefficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Actively involved cross functionallywith Demand Planning, Customer Service, FSQ, Warehousing, Transportation, andSupply Planning, this position will develop and execute inventory strategies tosupport fill rate goals and inventory efficiencies.

• Collaborates with business partnersto best utilize storage to minimize costs and increase profitability.

• Creates purchase orders and stocktransfer orders utilizing ERP System within guidelines to maximizeprofitability. Establishes best methods in ERP System & overall processesincluding data integrity, reliable results, and consistent compliance to ensuredesired inventory levels and fill rate goals are achieved in all Depots, DC’s,RDC’s and3PL’s.

• Utilizes reporting on daily/weeklybasis to maintain system to support and drive optimal inventory levels and totake corrective actions where possible.

• Develops and implementsreplenishment models & timelines such as seasonality pre-builds, newlaunches, promotions, and existing items.

• Performs analysis and reviews ofmin/max inventory levels throughout the distribution network, increase /decrease as necessary to support forecasts, service and financial objectives.

• Reviews aging inventory on regularbasis to minimize obsolete or excess inventory creates and monitors actionplans to minimize inventory liability including follow up on hold and blockedInventory for disposition as well as inventory rebalancing.

• Recommends product discontinuationto Demand Planning teams on slow moving SKU’s. Presents results and actionplans broadly to both internal and external departments and makesrecommendations for process improvements.

• Maintains & provides SupplierSchedules to Co-pack partners on a weekly basis.

• Leads departmental projects andtrains Inventory & Fulfillment Planners

Qualifications

Whatwe need from you:

Education: BA/BS in Supply Chain Operations Mathematics FinanceStatistics or similar areas.

  • In-depth knowledge of multiple areas of the supply chain,logistics management, inventory/demand planning operations, distribution,transportation, and procurement.

  • Advanced mathematical skills with strong PC skills includingMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel- vlookup/Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, andAccess) and with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDA, BOBJ, Webi, etc.).

  • Independent worker and analytical thinker with the abilityto lead and do data analysis to resolve complex problems.

  • Superior attention to detail and a high need for accuracy.

  • Superior communication skills (written, verbal,presentation).

  • Able to travel up to 10% of the time and maintain expectedperformance levels.
