As the Sr. Product Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing upstream and downstream marketing leadership for current and future product lines. You’ll play a critical role in developing and executing the commercial strategy to drive physician adoption, expand utilization and generate market demand. A passion for patients, technology, clinical and scientific data, and innovative health care marketing is essential for your success. Strong product management skills (up-stream and down-stream); and excellent communication and influence management skills are also required.
Work closely with the VP of Marketing and cross-functional partners to develop effective marketing/commercial strategy by understanding key leverage points in the customer journey and creating effective programs and tools to support clinicians through all stages of adoption.
Set product strategy and messaging to maximize the growth opportunity within each customer segment and help the field/internal partners tailor their strategies for each.
Collaborate with partners to ensure core messages are effectively and consistently communicated through the field team and HCP channels (web, email, tradeshows, social/digital and peer to peer).
Develop and consistently monitor metrics to measure the performance of messaging, tactics and programs.
Support new product development process, identify unmet needs of customer, develop market opportunity assessments, oversee VOC research and evaluate programs based on ability to provide highest return in alignment with company objectives. Develop go to market plans, pricing strategy, forecasting, training and marketing tools for new product launches.
Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.
4 years' experience in marketing or product management.
Previous experience in medical devices or a related health care industry is preferred.
Demonstrated ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software.
