About KANA - The Kodiak Area Native Association is celebrating its 50th year of providing patient and family focused health care and social services to the people of Kodiak Island. KANA serves the city of Kodiak and six rural villages and we opened a second clinic in Kodiak in the fall of 2015 to provide expanded Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, and Radiology services. Our Dental team is made of up two full time Dentists, a Dental Health Aide Therapist, three Dental Hygienists, and six Dental Assistants. Our Dental Providers travel monthly by small plane to our six rural village clinics. In addition to Dental services, KANA offers integrated Medical, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy services within the primary care setting to facilitate an advanced support system to ensure our patients needs are met. KANA also offers Child Services and Youth Prevention Projects; Women, infant and Children (WIC); Vocational Rehabilitation; Employment and Training programs; Early Childhood program; Infant Learning Program, and full service Fitness Center.

This position offers a competitive salary of $150,000 to $180,000 (based on experience) for Staff Dentist engaged in general dentistry of all ages and village travel. Signing bonus paid within 30 days of hire date of $10,000 and up to $5,000 towards CE and up to 10 days per year. A relocation reimbursement of $15,000 is also offered along with loan repayment.
