New York City office of an AmLaw firm seeks staff attorney with 4+ years of transactional experience in the music/entertainment industry. The candidate should preferably have solid experience in music transactions including demonstrated experience negotiating and drafting agreements in the music industry (recording agreements, distribution agreements, publishing agreements, producer agreements, side artist agreements, writer/split agreements, sponsorship and endorsement agreements, management agreements, festival agreements and merchandise agreements). Must preferably have experience with copyright, trademark, licensing, exclusivity, and usage rights matters. Business transactions experience in the art and fashion industries is a plus. Should be admitted to the NY Bar and in good standing. This is a non-partnership track position.This is a national law firm with an especially strong West Coast presence.
