Provides on-site support for the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays to contracted facilities in compliance with the Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI and AORN standards and facilities goals and policies. Position level will be determined by previous job related experience, performance and certification requirements.

- High School Diploma or GED
2 years with demonstrated proficiency with all SPD Technician responsibilities including a solid proficiency and ability to work independently with all tray sets
Basic certification (CRCST) required.
Additional certification required (CIS, CHL, FCS and/or Endo) (i.e. instrument specialist, flexible endoscope)
- Completion of a Sterile Processing/Surgical Technologist program preferred.
