The overall objective of this position is to assist in conducting technical research and analysis of force sustainment, training, and integration with other Service, Joint, Agency, and Coalition forces. This analysis also includes the development of recommendations in order to enhance the survivability of the conventional force (2d MarDiv).

Conduct vulnerability analysis of 2d MarDiv aligned areas of operations. Provide recommended analysis and actions for General Officer staffs decision making and long-range planning that mitigate these vulnerabilities within the strategic and operational environment.
Conduct analysis and develop recommended conventional force survivability- and lethality-enhancing concepts, capabilities, technologies, and solutions.
Provide survivability analysis of existing planning documents and recommended plans for the strategic and long-range development, modernization, and transformation of Marine assets.
Develop recommendations for the reception and rapid integration of U.S. based forces and analysis of survivability and lethality related information.
Conduct functional analyses and develop products that mitigate vulnerabilities.
Provide recommended analysis and actions for General Officer decision making and long-range planning and decision making that mitigate these vulnerabilities within the AOR.
Conduct analysis and develop recommendations regarding 2d MarDiv aligning its efforts to Man, Train, and Equip its forces.
Develop survivability/vulnerability-based recommendations to conventional force feasibility which provide 2d MarDiv decision makers with responsive and accurate insight into key readiness elements such as personnel, supply, readiness and training.
Clearance: Secret required, TS/SCI preferred
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri; 8 hrs days anticipated
Travel: TBD, possible conference attendance no more than 3 times per yr for 5 days/event or less.

Offeror must demonstrate employees have education at the career (O-4) level, or higher, from any United States military service school.
Offeror must demonstrate employees have at least two years of experience working on a General Officer level staff (U. S. military) specifically in either the current, or future operations section.
Offeror must demonstrate employees have training in curriculum development and instructional methods.
Offeror must demonstrate employees have a minimum of three years of experience in providing instruction. Experience at a career (O-4) level military school (U. S. military), or higher, is preferred.
