Strategic Sourcing Manager for Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) - Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing annual supply chain strategic and tactical plans with our Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) providers for the Fluke operations. Strategic EMS Leader drives competitive business advantage by implementing ground-breaking strategies for cost, quality, delivery and working capital benefits on the outsourced purchases annually. Responsible for organizing and leading supporting staff members towards key objectives, process improvements and metrics alignment to permit competitive supply chain value performance improvements. This position allows for vast and varied exposure across multiple disciplines and business units Responsibilities: •Prepare and execute short and long term EMS supply chain initiatives and goals. •Lead commodity team to achieve KPI's and strategic goals of the organization. •Drive year over year supplier quality, delivery, cost and working capital KPI improvement priorities. Reduce waste. •Responsible for aligning metrics with other regions and performing business reviews with suppliers. •Facilitate cross-functional engagement between procurement, internal functional groups and with external EMS suppliers to advance supply chain and business improvement objectives. •Plan, direct and coordinate supply base integration strategies for new company acquisitions. •Lead new and on-going supplier audit activities to ensure the supply base has robust process controls and capabilities to meet existing and future business requirements. •Advise management on supply chain threats and execute risk mitigation actions. •Originate, lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives through the use of appropriate FBS (Fortive Business System) tools with suppliers. •Maintains continuous in-depth knowledge and communication of electronics industry trends, threats and opportunities. •Build strategic alliances with key outsourced manufacturing partners to ensure maximum access to supplier resources, technology and services. •Seed and feed new vendor relationships for future business objectives. •Bachelor's degree. •8-10 years of global supply chain experience with low cost region contract manufacturing suppliers. •People supervisory and leadership experience •A proven track record for driving continuous improvements in supply chain. •Negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills. •Good organization, project management and follow-through skills •Ability to prioritize, multitask and act in a proactive manner. •Travel to vendor locations including international is required All external hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
