Keep reading as Fluke is looking for a Supply Chain and Demand Planner to join the Supply Chain and Demand Planning team of Americas Fulfillment Organization in Everett, WA. In this role, you will plan, schedule, and coordinate insourced and outsourced products. Evaluating and analyzing data regarding processes and systems to resolve problems with inventory, shipment schedules, or supply chain issues and recommends procedures to avoid future problems. We will rely on you to establish a balance between vendors, as well as internal and external customers based on supply and demand for finished goods. Primary Responsibilities: • Communicate and coordinate with vendor to ensure continuous supply of product, meeting quality and delivery standards. • Resolve any vendor line stopping issues. • Set up inventory goals and monitor, with input from appropriate stakeholders. • Develop action plans and counter measures, development and factory teams for inventory control. • Support purchasing team in financial objectives (PPV). • Participate and initiate continuous improvement through use of appropriate FBS (Fortive Business System) tools. • Participates in, or coordinates the integration of New Product Introductions (NPI) with NPI team from vendor to factory. • Establish and maintain standard work and/or consistent training in the materials team. • Forecast requirements, issues periodic reports on trends. • Interact with sourcing team (Procurement) to ensure best practices and greatest leverage in procurement, low cost region sourcing, supplier assessment and management. Basic Qualifications: • Works if problems of moderate scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. • Exercises judgment within procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. • Builds productive internal/external working relationships. • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing supply chain or directly related. • Minimum of two years of related experience. • Must be proficient in Excel (advanced formulas, pivots, if/then). • Self-starter who seeks out ways to improve processes before being asked. • Ability to be effective in a fast paced, metric driven environment. • Solid understanding of materials flow and inventory triggers. • Excellent verbal and written communication. • Team player. Working Conditions and Basic Requirements: • Moderate travel to other sites. • Otherwise, normal office environment. • Able to speak and read English fluently. • Able to lift up to 25 pounds. Preferred Qualifications: • Proficient with Oracle Business Intelligence systems, Oracle experience or similar. • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. • 3-5 five years of related experience.
