COMPANY DESCRIPTION | Our client is a leading is a beauty, nutrition, and lifestyle company, based in Dublin. They are currently looking for a Procurement and Planning Specialist based in their offices in Dublin City Centre. The Procurement and Planning Specialist will report into to the Supply Chain function. As the Procurement and Planning Specialist for International markets, you will be expected to become proficient in all functions within the Supply Chain function. You should be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, ability to analyse and manage information, creates reports, and make recommendations based on your investigations and findings.

POSITION DESCRIPTION | Key responsibilities:Manage print and packaging vendors Place POs with contract manufacturers and print vendors Manage quality documentation and product release Ensure Invoice accuracy and timely payment of suppliers Backorders, cancellations, returns and order batch interface management Manage logistics and transportation vendors Inventory management Draft and collaborate on the development of appropriate procedures, process maps, and other documentation as necessary for the deployment of the Supply Chain. Be self-motivated and prepared to work on own initiative Possess the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality in all aspects of the role Must be a team player, yet highly self-driven and ambitious Possess commercial sense Responsive and flexible approach to work, with a “can-do” attitude The ability to work under tight deadlines and high pressure Other adhoc duties as required |
NUMBER OF YEARS PREFERRED EXPERIENCE | Skills and Abilities Required:Skills and Abilities Required: At least 1-2 years' experience in marketing, customer service, distribution, procurement, vendor management, supply chain, or related roles Ability to prioritise, organise and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines Excellent analytical, problem solving, and project management skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be able to work well independently as well as part of a broad team Excellent Microsoft Office skills (advanced excel, etc.) Hands on approach and ability to meet deadlines and maintain priorities High level of IT proficiency and working knowledge of the following packages: Email, Internet, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
