Reporting to the Nursing ManagerSurgical Services Department, the ORRN will also work with staff and other Nurse Directors in the department to ensure quality patient care in the department. The Perioperative Services RN will also use evidence based quality care with an emphasis on standards of medical practice.
Responsibilities for theTrauma Nurse include consulting with patients and families for education and treatments, lead new hires in the orientation process, and implement and evaluate patient care. Although a BSN Degree is preferred, they would consider a candidate with an RN Degree from an Accredited Nursing School. TheSurgeryNurse may have to wear many hats to allow the best patient care possible.
