The mission for this role is...
Immediate focus: To establish and grow an Company team in North America, and translate this into rapid local ARR growth.
Team growth - Building a team of 8-10 FTEs for the first 6-12 months, starting with commercial roles that initially mirror Company UK/EU commercial model, to rapidly build performance and client traction.
Revenue growth - In 2020, growing North America ARR from $0.5-1.0m to $3.0 or more. In 2021 and beyond, we 'll establish the target growth rates, with the belief that North America can quickly reach 5-10x our UK ARR profile. The US will be one of Company 's largest global markets, and you 'll be pivotal in unlocking that growth for us.
Team productivity - Everything from successfully onboarding each team member (intending that every new joiner spends substantial time with our UK team in their first few weeks), to helping each team member achieve their maximum potential. You will be trusted to develop and evolve your team with Company 's hiring model. Company localisation - Adapting Company marketing, etc. to meet North America syles and buying processes. From there, taking new risk, learning from experience, and unlocking new value. We believe this to the extent that UK operations will also evolve together with North American growth, based on new things that you discover in North America, all with a core 'one office ' concept of all Company locations growing together.
Depending upon you, and early results, this role may extend to include significant scaling and extension to other markets.
Further team scale - Building-out a fully-formed team, growing to 25-50+ very quickly, with uncapped potential scale. This includes establishing all aspects of commercial and operations functions, from marketing to legal and payroll, with additional functional leaders where helpful.
Company globalisation - North America is Company 's first physical presence outside the UK. A secondary aspect of your role may be to help create a playbook for Company entering new geographies, and potentially playing a part in expanding beyond North America (next locations planned include: India, China, Australia, Singapore).
Overall, this is therefore a true company leadership experience, with a very clear starting point and uncapped longer-term potential.

This role will start with a purely commercial team, initially mirroring our London setup (very classical SaaS structure), and then will evolve in scale and complexity from there. This role will be reporting directly to our CEO, and you will build great relationships with other members of the senior team, broader Company team, new/existing clients, existing/future investors, and beyond. The legal structures are set up and ready to go ' what we need now is the right leader to truly hit 'go '.

- You have experience in two or more B2B/SaaS companies, in a senior leadership role.
- You have experience in leading and managing a commercial team of 10 or more.
- You have a key role in generating revenue growth rate >200% year-on-year.
- You have experience operating in North America... ideally with international and/or multi-location experience too.
- You 're super organised, also thriving in short bursts of chaos and uncertainty.
