Switchboard Operator at Tanner Clinic

Description: Switchboard operator needed for multi-specialty health care clinic.

Duties:

• Answer and direct all incoming calls quickly, accurately, and professionally.
• Be aware of the daily hours of operation for each provider or physician and support office personnel.
• Assess and deal with emergent situations, providing a helpful and positive outcome for callers.
• Take and deliver complete, detailed messages when necessary.
• Maintain strict personal, patient, and company confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional ability to speak and communicate clearly, professionally, and with empathy.
• Working familiarity with phone and voice mail systems.
• Working knowledge of computer systems; strong keyboarding skills.
• Ability to assess and deal with stressful or emergent situations.
• Prior health care experience preferred
