Level of experience/Education:
Bachelors degree in engineering or technical field
o Shipyard program management experience in planning, scheduling, cost analysis/ control
o Three (3) years General experience in the engineering, design, development, or testing and evaluation of a Navy combat system with two (2) years of recent experience in any of the following:
Test requirements definition
Test Plan/Procedures development, maintenance, and execution
Test data reduction and analysis
Computer program performance analysis and reporting
o 8-10 years experience in the development of schedules in MS Project
o 8-10 years experience in the development and tracking of cost estimates
Additional Desired Experience:
o CVN Test and Evaluation (T&E) experience.
o Surface Ship Navy operational experience
Support the NSWCDD V44 Carrier team located at NSWCDD Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA), Virginia Beach, Virginia by developing and analyzing cost and schedules and helping to coordinate the PDT&T activities.
Develop, track, and maintain schedules in Microsoft Project
Develop, track and maintain cost estimates
Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance and make recommendations on actions required to recover.
Attend coordination meetings to refine plans and schedules
The position is located at Dam Neck with occasional travel to Washington, DC to support the tasking for both PMS379/80 and NAVSEA05V.
