Our National Tax Practice is comprised of a dedicated team of tax professionals strategically positioned across the country. As an account manager within our Affordable Care Act (ACA) team, you will serve as a subject matter professional to support our clients. We’ll look to you to play a lead role in client relationships and quality assurance while staying abreast of ACA updates and service delivery for our clients. **Your key responsibilities** You’re likely to spend most of your time directly engaged with clients providing authoritative advice and guidance. You’ll review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met; participating in client meetings and working within a team environment to deliver fully integrated services. **Skills and attributes for success** + Constructing and leading client program and process training + Reviewing all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met + Communicating client goals and representing client interests to all internal teams + Strategically reviewing requests considering client needs, EY capabilities, and long-term goals + Reviewing and evaluating client performance, providing suggestions, and teaming with the client on implementation plans for improvement as needed + Co-developing solutions with internal team members to adjust for new and changing programs + Maximizing tax credit opportunities and encouraging new and repeat business **To qualify for the role you must have** + A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of related work experience + Extensive account management experience as the primary client contact at a corporate level + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail + Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills + Commitment to following through effectively on all client requests **Ideally, you’ll also have** + Ability to work with professionals at all levels across diverse geographic areas + A high level of initiative and the ability to thrive in a team environment + Capacity to work independently and effectively on a variety of tasks at the same time + Ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures well **What we look for** We’re interested in professionals with the drive to take on new responsibilities and engage with our clients.
