Wealth management firm seeks an experienced Tax Manager to join our tax department. This person will plan and prepare tax returns for individuals and pass-through entities, including fiduciaries. The Tax Manager will lead a team of 5 highly motivated and dedicated CPA - Tax Accountants.

•Serve as tax accountant for tax department.
•Support and manage a team of 5 CPA Tax Accountants to effectively manage all client engagements, including preparation, tax planning, research and compliance.
•Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary tax returns
•Prepare amended returns.
•Maintain complete and accurate work papers to support each tax return. Support and manage the tax team to maintain complete and accurate work papers in consistent manner.
•Receive, review, and resolve federal and state income-tax controversy and inquiries
•Use tax portal to deliver and exchange tax documents with clients
•Maintain corporate clients' books and financials in QuickBooks to support tax-filing and tax-planning and advice service
•Ensure staff work-assignments flow properly and are completed accurately and timely
•Implement technology within client assignments and internal processes
•Support team members' and one's own pursuit of relevant professional development through current client assignments and outside continuing education and study
•Licensed CPA or Enrolled Agent License
•Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
•Minimum of three years' experience in personal, pass-through entity, tax planning and preparation
•Accounting Management: 5 years (Preferred)
•Minimum of three years' experience managing tax-controversy items stemming from tax preparation services for individuals and pass-through entities
•Proficiency in multiple software applications, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Office suite
