This is a highly regulated industry, so it’s all about maintaining our reputation as trusted advisors by taking on bold initiatives and owning new challenges. **Skills and attributes for success** + Identifying and answering complex domestic and international tax issues + Providing technical tax advice and planning services to a portfolio of projects + Desire to learn and specialize in new tax legislation and how it impacts clients + Building long-lasting relationships with our clients, developing your understanding of their unique needs and requirements + Being part of a dedicated client service team and providing performance feedback to staff + Constantly developing your own knowledge, maintaining your status as a trusted advisor by monitoring emerging trends, technologies and practices + Technology and data analytic skills to: + Model/quantify the impact of tax reform legislation on client’s global structure + Identify potential planning opportunities based on client data + Coach or lead teams on large scale data transformation projects + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and ability to learn Microsoft Access and other data software programs + Experience in foreign tax credit calculations, including foreign source income and mechanics of expense allocations + Flexibility to work with engagement teams in different offices within the region **To qualify for the role you must have** + A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field ) and/or a Juris Doctorate in Law + Progress toward (or completion of) a valid CPA certification or licensed attorney status + The ability to communicate complex tax and industry concepts to clients through exceptional writing and speaking skills + Confidence in your ability to prioritize when working on multiple complex projects + The ability to collaboratively work with others as part of a high-performing team + Minimum of 3 years of work experience in professional services or professional tax organization + Ability to work in fast paced professional services environment **What we look for** We’re looking for knowledgeable technical professionals with an excellent general knowledge of both international and domestic tax.
