Assists the classroom teacher with all aspects of the academic program. Interacts on a daily basis with students, teachers, adjunct faculty, and residential staff and is an integral part of the classroom organization and structure.
Assists teachers with all aspects of the academic program. Instructs and provides counseling to students. Designs, prepares, and implements lessons in coordination with the classroom teacher. Assesses and documents student progress. Participates in staff meetings, individual planning meetings, and parent-student meetings.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in liberal arts, education or a related field required.
Substitute License or Paraprofessional license required.

Requires strong interest in academics across the curriculum.
Requires understanding of the rules of confidentiality.
Requires ability to lift minimum of twenty pounds.
Requires occasional light moving.
Requires ability to supervise children of various ages.
Requires ability to participate, as necessary, in physical education activities.
