Technical Support Specialist at Profound Logic Software, Inc.

Location: Virtual, or Irvine CA, Dayton OH, Oak Creek WI, or Starkville MS

Profound Logic, an innovator in IBM i application modernization software, is looking to add a new Technical Support Specialist to our team for the Pacific Time shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT).

You will be responsible for providing first line of phone and email technical support to our customers, who are IT staff and software developers. You will learn programming skills needed to write applications with our software and will have the chance to work with some of the best and brightest minds in our industry. A candidate who shows aptitude and proven performance over time may earn the opportunity to move up into a developer position.

Qualified applicants must possess the following:

• High level of interest in IT and Computer Programming
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer relationship skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Willingness to take on additional tasks and multitask as needed

The following skills are a major plus:

• Business application development experience
• Web 2.0 technologies (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX)
• Familiarity with the IBM i server
• ILE RPG coding
• js coding
