Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Lead a manufacturing team in the medical device industry and take responsibility for the quality of the products produced, the production yield and the timeliness of the deliveries.
o Responsible for coordinating, builds, testing, and packaging of products in an FDA and ISO regulated manufacturing environment.
o Operate, for the manufacturing group, all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment and undertake standard and complex production tasks safely and in accordance with instructions
o Set up or adjust equipment according to manufacturing and R&D specifications for Pilot runs.
o Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard, or remanufacture faulty products.
o Record and maintain accurate daily production and pilot run records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed.
o Provide specialized level job training to new hires and further developing skills to team members
o Preparing/machining various kinds of products or raw materials using various machines/tools/resources according to work regulations/instructions
o Knowledge and experience of interpreting technical drawings, schematics, geometric dimensions and tolerance to operate Pilots/Prototypes
Has a good understanding of digitalization of manufacturing processes and can operate complex tasks in the context of an increasingly digital factory
o Interact with cross-functional team members in QA, QC, Marketing, Purchasing, Engineering, Customer Service, and Document Control
o Assist supervisor with staffing requirements to meet build plans.
o Have a working knowledge of departmental procedures and administrative activities.
o Strive for continuous improvement, be team oriented, communicate suggestions and concerns, generate solutions, be flexible, and provide positive interaction and feedback with peers and internal departments at meetings.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
o Minimum of 3 plus years’ related experience leading teams within a manufacturing environment (REQUIRED)
o 5 or more years experience working in a regulated industry such as medical device, pharma, electronics, food, etc. (REQUIRED)
o Must possess advanced computer skills with MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP (REQUIRED)
o Must possess strong leadership skills, as well as, facilitation, motivation and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to resolve conflict situations.
o Demonstrated proficiency in reading, math, written skills, manual dexterity, and computer software knowledge (Word, Excel, SAP, related systems)
