Build and maintain strong member relationships by providing prompt, accurate and courteous service when assisting members with their financial transactions through the drive-thru window. Support Record Retention functions as required.
Greet and welcome members in a professional manner. Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service in the processing of transactions.
Accurately process all teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments within established limits, and in accordance with Credit Union policy.
Maintain cash drawer or cash dispenser with minimal discrepancies
Maintain accurate, up-to-date knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Branch open and close, including vault balancing.
Ordering new money and selling overage of funds from the vault to make sure levels are within branch limits.
Ensure all materials and supplies are ordered for the drive-thru area.
Process drive-thru, night deposit, branch mail and other monetary transactions for members.
Review and monitor various Record Retention reports to ensure accurate member records.
Update various member information, collateral, insurance, and imaging records for accuracy.
Contact employees and members as needed to obtain information either verbally or written.
Prepare monthly GL reports as needed for Manager.
Follow all Credit Union policies, procedures and regulations.
Represent the Credit Union in a professional manner (including but not limited to appearance, behavior and performance).
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work cooperatively with others.
All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience – High school diploma or General Education Degree. One year teller or administrative experience in a financial institution preferred.
Qualifications and Requirements – Individual must possess the knowledge skills and ability required to execute the essential functions in a satisfactory manner. Must successfully complete teller test at the conclusion of teller training.
Language – Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and policies and procedures. Ability to write correspondence and use proper grammar, punctuation and spelling. Ability to speak effectively before groups.
Mathematical – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.
Reasoning – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer – Ability to operate related computer applications including Word, Excel and e-mail. Proficient typing skills. Ability to operate other business equipment including adding machine, coin and money counting machines and telephone.
Work is typically done in the office at the company’s principal base of business or branches.
Travel is required occasionally. May be required to travel to various work locations, both local and surrounding counties.

Ability to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Responsibilities may require off site attendance at seminars or meetings with consultants, professional, or community groups.
Position requires flexible hours, including occasional and/or regular Saturdays.
Occasionally lift/move up to 10 pounds. Seldom lift/move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision.
Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.
