The Title IX Advisor position is critical to the success of the Title IX program at the University of Alaska. The university is building a roster of advisors for complainants and respondents. Selected applicants will ensure all parties in Title IX hearings have equal opportunity to conduct cross-examination of parties and witnesses through the use of an advisor.
There are a limited number of Title IX Advisor positions available. Successful submission of an application doesn't guarantee selection as a Title IX Advisor.
This recruitment is open to all Faculty and Exempt Staff at any UA location, provided that successful candidates are able to effectively execute the duties either in-person or remotely from their current location.
If selected, the successful applicant will receive a total annual payment of $1,500.00.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be articulate, both written and verbal.
Must have public speaking skills.
Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality.
Thorough knowledge of the policies and procedures in BOR Policy and University Regulation Chapter 01.04.
A minimum of two years experience in current career field.
