Title IX Analyst
Under the general direction of the Title IX Officer, the Title IX Analyst provides case management support and assists with varied complex duties, tasks, and projects involving a full range of policy and administrative issues. The position is responsible for supporting the implementation of significant aspects of university compliance with California State University (CSU) Executive Orders regarding discrimination, harassment, and retaliation among employees, students, and third-parties; facilitating appropriate responses to reports of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in accordance with the applicable CSU Executive Orders and state and federal laws; communications with parties and witnesses; notetaking during intake and investigation interviews; research; and drafting investigative summaries and reports.
This position is classified as "Confidential" in accordance with the provisions of the Higher Education Employer-Employee Relations Act (HEERA). The incumbent regularly performs duties that require access to confidential information, which contributes significantly to the development of management positions and responses. This position works directly with the Title IX Officer and the Title IX Investigator in the collection, organization, presentation and review of sensitive and confidential data on a wide range of matters, including but not limited to staff and MPP actions, labor issues, investigations, litigation strategies, settlements and/or resolutions of claims; and other related personnel matters.
