* IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not an IT-type job, but more akin to those who have corporate real estate program management experience. JOB SUMMARY This person will work with functional area leads and project teams to develop program plans that support corporate real estate outsourcing projects to transition services from incumbent providers or in-house teams to our business operations teams. This individual will then provide on-going support and control for these programs by leading team meetings, updating and amending project schedules, producing reports, providing concise and cogent written analysis, and communicating with decision-makers to address identified risks and issues affecting delivery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create program initiation documentation, which clearly define project scope, objectives, key stakeholders, and milestones necessary for project success. Design work breakdown structures, which include scope organization and deliverable identification. Develop network diagrams, which illustrate the precedence relationships among activities. Provide and/or direct data entry of the network diagrams into the project management software. Analyse resulting project schedules, compressing them with team input to achieve project deadlines. Generate reporting to assist in the effective interpretation and management of projects. Facilitate weekly program execution review meetings and regular team interaction with project plans to provide updates and alterations. Ensure adherence of company policies and procedures related to project and program management. Leads cross-functional project teams through the development of the following: Preliminary scoping documents and high-level or detailed schedules, as required; Initiation documents that effectively communicate the scope and objectives of the project; Work breakdown structures that include deliverables, work phases and activities; Network diagrams that identify the precedence relationships, durations, responsibilities and resources for all activities, resulting in clearly identifiable critical paths to key milestones and resource constraints; Validation and compression of project schedules that ensure the quality of the project plan, proper analysis of time-cost trade-offs, and compliance with deadlines. Identifies and resolves inefficiencies arising between project team contributors, client engagement, and/or other teamwork issues. Analyses resource requirements and advises senior leadership / sponsors on anticipated needs and impact to budget and deadlines. Enhances value to the organization through application of project management policies, procedures, standard reports, coding structures, project metrics, project templates, etc. Generates executive-level status reports for key stakeholders. Mentors project teams in the use of project management tools and methods. Monitors the use and assignment of project management office resources. \n\nQUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in either Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology or related field. Minimum four years of related experience and/or training. Previous Project Manager experience and/or business analysis work experience. CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES Certification(s) in PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Excellent written and verbal communication skills. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications including: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, MS Project and Project Server. Ability to work well under pressure with a proactive approach including managing multiple deadlines and changing project scope/direction. Exercise project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills.
