Transition Room Teacher – High School

The Schuylkill Valley School District has an immediate vacancy for a Transition Room Teacher at the High School.  This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of the district’s Transition Education and Special Education team programs.  Must have experience in learning support, instructional adaptation, effective interaction patterns, student discipline/behavior management, providing assistance for at-risk children, and assisting regular classroom teachers in meeting goals set by the special education team.  Appropriate PA certification including Special Education certification, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others and acceptable record of attendance required. Please apply online at www.schuylkillvalley.org by clicking on the “HR/Careers” button at the top of the page.  Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.  EOE.
