Provide technical leadership and guidance in problem solving to program design engineering for Transmission System Assembly and Testing Manufacturing methods.
Lead research projects that advance the technologies related to Rotorcraft Transmission Component and Assembly Manufacturing.
Provide expertise to internal and external stakeholders including Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Engineering Labs, suppliers, etc.
Represent Bell in industry committees or associations.
Provide creative and innovative solutions to advanced vertical lift concepts during the predesign phase.
Manage relationships with suppliers which may include creating SOWs, project/delivery status, external supplier visits, etc.
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related technical discipline.
At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following technical disciplines or Automotive Factory Automation SME:
o Transmission and Gearbox Manufacturing and/or Testing
o Design for Manufacturing related to Transmissions and Gearboxes
o Proficient in CAD/CAM and/or CATIA V5/V6
o Working knowledge of industry specifications and standards
