Travel RN - Post Partum in Issaquah, WA at Nurses PRN

The postpartum Nurse is responsible for taking care of female patients who have recently given birth. Postpartum Registered Nurse are required to provide physical and emotional support tailored to the new mother’s specific needs.

Responsibilities:

As a Postpartum Registered Nurse your duties include:

• Perform various of health assessments to ensure the mother and her newborn are healthy and recovering correctly.
• Educating the new mother and her family on how to take care for their addition and relieving any concerns by answering any and all questions they may have.
• Looking out for any signals of postpartum depression in the mothers and treating appropriately.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Postpartum Nurse within the past two years.

• Current RN License in good standing.
• Current BLS from American Heart Association.
• Negative Drug Screen.
