The Ultrasonographer provides health care services while demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to assist in the diagnosis of the patient.
Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for completion of the procedure
High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of a ARDMS approved program, with certification within 12 months, or an accredited vascular board required. Staff must achieve vascular accreditation (RVT/RVS) within two (2) years of hire date.
Current BLS certification required. Must have computer skills and ability to work with PACS. Must have quality customer service skills. Flexibility and ability to work with minimal supervision is required.
Previous experience preferred. Previous experience with PACS preferred.
