The purpose of this job is to accurately perform the order transcription process and to handle receptionist and clerical duties.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support/CPR , Cert Non-Violent Crises Interv
- 1 year of related experience
- Clerical training
- Ability to: transcribe orders; prioritize; utilize computer; handle chart processing; maintain a variety of logs; file; and, handle multiple tasks. Knowledge of: medical terminology; communication techniques; order transcription process; computers; telephone etiquette; role in emergency; confidentiality (HIPAA); patient rights; infection control procedures; chart order/maintenance; and, standards and policies.
