You will: Collaborate with business users to document and implement business requirements; document user requirements and translate requirements into reporting solutions
Conduct data gathering, data cleansing, and data prep processes using various utilities
Design, build, and implement new report formats and layouts on a customized basis
Validate operational and historical data ensuring that it is accurately captured from various data sources, understanding and interpretation of data formulas, and calculations and troubleshooting of variances
Seek opportunities for automation or enhancement of existing report design processes.
Review and interpret reports to support current business initiatives and support departmental needs for ad hoc reporting
Participate in the projects supporting company strategic initiatives surrounding information gathering, information sharing, and KPI formulation
Complete statistical trend and gap analyses to identify efficiency opportunities in internal processes using technical and analytical expertise
Your background: Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related quantitative discipline
As a Financial Analyst, you have:
Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, v-lookup, and report writing to analyze data and consolidate reports
Strong analytical skills to evaluate, understand and interpret data from both internal and external perspectives
Meticulous attention to detail with an appreciation for the relationship between data quality and business success
Must be able to communicate ideas and results effectively, both verbally and in writing, to both analytical and non-analytical audiences
Must demonstrate an ability to recognize and define problems, understand business and system processes, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Able to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
Preferred eCommerce services experience
Proficiency with Oracle Hyperion applications, e.g. Planning and Management Reporting, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Essbase
Familiar with statistical analysis, along with working knowledge of any programing language
2-4 years of demonstrated experience in the functional areas of business analysis, financial analysis, and statistical model development using SQL and/or reporting tools
Proficiency with MS Excel , macros, VBA, PowerBI/Tableau
