This position is responsible for the oversight and continued maturation of CHUBB’s Global IT Compliance program. This role ensures adherence to all applicable IT controls as well as providing leadership in the continued refinement of controls. The role-holder will be a trusted, critical partner to the IT Leadership team, to ensure adherence to compliance oversight and monitoring standards.
- 10+ years of increasing leadership experience across application development, information security, strategic planning, risk management, compliance monitoring, project management and IT auditing
Lead a team of 2 direct reports, 1 university cooperative education student and 30+ indirect reports globally
Manage multiple business partner relationships with key compliance partners including statement of work definition, work oversite and payment approvals
Skilled individual capable of partnering and negotiating with internal, external (PWC) and regulatory auditors on scope/depth/risks/results of IT audits
Strategic focus demonstrated by the ability to analyze global results and identify opportunities for continuous improvement relative to the global IT control environment
Ability to understand and assess new processes and technologies (e.g., Intelligent Automation, AGILE Systems Development) and provide controls guidance for new areas and processes within the IT environment
Expert communication and presentation skills across all audiences within the IT organization, particularly at the Executive level
Ability to execute with a strong results orientation evidenced in effective and timely addressing issues
Ability to work successfully in both direct reporting and matrixed work relationship models with global resources
Able to work effectively across global boundaries including cultural considerations
Demonstrated leadership competencies including business acumen, influence, inclusive team leadership, ownership and integrity/courage
- Previous experience with IT Sarbanes-Oxley compliance to include IT applications, access controls and IT general controls
B.S. or Masters in relevant field of study
Desired ISACA Certifications:
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified in Risk and Information Security Controls (CRISC)
Position requires time to be split between Philadelphia, PA and Whitehouse, NJ. Position also involves 10 – 20% travel to global Chubb Office Locations.
