We are seeking a Vice President of Business Development who will drive partnership strategy and strategic execution for the Company. He or she will be skilled at sourcing partnership, joint venture and acquisition opportunities for the company and then bringing them through their full cycle of negotiation.

+ Develop and execute new business strategies that drive the strategic growth, vision, and objectives of the business; incorporating strategic and financial analyses.
+ Work with the CEO and Executive Team to define and determine the new business growth priorities for the business and to drive growth initiatives; within the defined risk appetite.
+ Execute deals end-to-end including sourcing, pitching, negotiation, and ongoing management.
+ Work closely with the other members of the Executive Team to close successful partnerships and strategic initiatives.
+ Prioritize, construct and develop powerful relationships with potential strategic partners.
+ Maintain rigorous oversight of key new business processes; ensure compliance through the development of and adherence to risk control mechanisms.
+ Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with all internal and external key stakeholders.
+ Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
+ Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field; Master’s preferred.
+ Previous Venture experience a plus.
+ Previous experience as an Analyst a plus.
+ At least 10 years of relevant strategy and business development experience.
+ Very strong written and personal communication skills.
+ Ability to see new opportunities in a rapidly evolving space.
+ Ability to identify new partners and deal structures that lead to successful deal closure and partnership relationships.
+ Ability to own outcomes, learn quickly, and overcome numerous obstacles to succeed.
+ Self-driven, and possessing grit and energy.
+ Demonstrated strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Demonstrated ability to independently lead origination, due diligence processes, perform financial analysis, prepare investment memos and develop recommendations for senior management.
+ Innovative mindset with a strong understanding of technology.
