A cutting-edge start-up Hospitality company located in the Flatiron is seeking a dynamic and strategic VP of HR to join their growing team. This is an add to staff role and will oversee a small team. The VP of HR will collaborate with the Executive and Management teams to make HR a strategic asset for the organization. The person will also be instrumental in analyzing the effectiveness of existing HR operations and policies (including recruitment, onboarding, training and compensation, benefits among others); suggest and implement improvements, as well as create from scratch. We are seeking a hands-on HR professional that will act as an employee advocate and a trusted advisor to executive leadership. We are seeking a deep knowledge of HR functions (including but not limited to talent management, recruitment and benefits) with the ability to establish credibility and rapport with executive-level stakeholders. This is a key role for the company. Previous experience in hospitality or a high-end multi-site service industry is highly preferred. 10-15+ years of experience is desired.
